Book excerpt: The book tells the life of a person born to learn and move around the world, sometimes because his family decided so and other times because he was open to change in a multi-cultural and globalized world that took him to dozens of countries on three continents. The stories described are based on real life, although details have been omitted and some names have been changed to respect the privacy of the people and institutions involved. Each person is a world and a path full of dreams, surprises, successes, and disappointments, as is the case of the protagonist of this story, who intensely lives a long list of adventures, sometimes in the world of corporate politics and other times in the process of personal maturation in the search for his existential purpose. The book begins with the family history of the protagonist. From the second chapter onwards, it focuses on his professional life, narrating the difficulties, challenges, and satisfactions he encounters on a long path that takes him through a few countries in Latin America, Europe, and Asia. In the last chapters, the protagonist leaves the corporate world and begins a process of trial and error that leads him to a new paradigm that rejuvenates his energy level in the search for a useful, pleasant, and enriching existence for the last stage of his life. journey.
